About Chris
Welcome! I'm Christopher, originally from Lithgow, New South Wales, and I joined the Australian Army in 2005. Following my military career, I discovered a profound passion for astrolandscape and documentary photography, captivated by the endless wonders of the night sky and Australia's awe-inspiring landscapes.
My journey has led me to capture images that narrate stories and evoke deep emotions. I’m honoured to have been shortlisted in the prestigious Astronomy Photographer of the Year competition and to have achieved recognition as a semi-finalist in the Australian Photography Prize.
Equipped with extensive photographic experience and a solid educational foundation from Photography Studies College, combined with more than a decade of leadership and instructional expertise gained through military service, I am passionate about guiding others to master the art of astrophotography. Together, let's explore the beauty of the cosmos, create extraordinary imagery, and continually inspire one another to grow in this incredible art form.
